Staying on Track During Stressful Times

Stress has certainly caused me to get off track with my habits. We’ve had some pretty major life events that increased stress levels, and my mind goes into high gear, figuring out options and potential solutions—or simply what we need to do to persevere through whatever challenge life throws at us. That said, I believe the level of stress a situation creates depends on your strength, emotional management, problem-solving skills, etc.

Life doesn’t stop happening, but our ability to handle it can improve and change. I’ve outlined many habits to foster growth in my life across faith, fitness, wellness, career, business, family, and more. Sometimes, when life hits hard, I feel like putting it all down. And sometimes, that’s necessary—to rest and gain perspective. But it’s also important to keep moving forward, even during big challenges.

In fact, I believe it’s one of the healthiest things you can do. It’s not easy, but still going to the gym for example and performing other daily habits can lead to breakthroughs in the life situation.
