When I meet resistance from the masses, I tend to realize I’m on the right path.

We are all subject to busyness and hurry and can easily fall into the rat race of the masses. We must stop to think critically and ask a deeper level set of questions.

I came up against a lot of soccer players in the past who I didn’t think should be on the field based on how they looked, but I was proven wrong by their quick footwork, nose for the goal, and strength on the ball. Many were All-American players.

2 hours a day brings freedom my way.

My daily personal growth system:

Inputs: Daily mindset reading (e.g., As a Man Thinketh) Personal growth, business, or investing reading (Pomodoro timer) Personal growth audio or podcast Journaling: Key reflections What I will apply Execution: Apply ideas through work, business, or investing Make connections Repeat daily. Consistency compounds.

If you could recommend one habit for personal growth, what would it be?

‪I think it would be reading. There’s a wealth of knowledge in books—even better if you have a mentor to help you apply it.‬

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

I like the idea of defining a time period and measuring results. Define the outcome and work backwards from there to determine the systems and steps within to create the result. There are a lot of possibilities in a 3 - 6 month window.

Baby steps and tiny habits compound. Most people get stuck staring at the entire staircase. Progress only requires the next step.

Be present. Follow your systems. Execute what’s in your control today.

When you fixate on the outcome (getting in financial shape), impatience sets in and consistency breaks. Instead, focus on what you can do today. Were you consistent?

Good habits and solid systems always show up over time.

I don’t think debt ever seems as heavy when you’re going through the process to borrow, but it sets in when the first payment is due and how long the road is to payoff.

Freedom is built everyday in personal growth, finances and business. Discipline and consistency are the separators.

It’s about showing up every day—having the discipline to be consistent with your systems and underlying habits.

Be intentional with your time. We either choose habits that move us closer to our goals or habits that take us further away.

A disciplined mind is a focused mind. Focus is about priorities. Otherwise, we’re distracted by everything! I continue to be a work in progress, but having systems in place certainly helps!

Suffering is for us if we choose to let it teach us and become stronger through it.

Discipline is showing everyday even when you don’t feel like it. It’s no longer a decision. It’s just who you become.

Suffering is for us if we choose to let it teach us and become stronger through it.
