How are you overcoming resistance right now?
I think the smartest thing I did in my twenties was being disciplined about using a portion of my income to invest. Over the years, life happened—family, challenges, etc.—and I wasn’t as consistent, but the early investing positioned us well. Now, I’m building a side hustle too. That’s the main thing I’d recommend to anyone starting at 18: build your side hustle!
As R.W. Emerson said, “the first wealth is health.” Focus on your mental and physical health first, and everything else will fall in - line. In fact, that same discipline is what builds any area of life.
Appreciate the critics because they are a critical part of the process and continue to make me stronger. Ignore anyone who doesn’t have the results.
An MBA hasn’t really provided me any benefit in building my career or pursuing other business opportunities. Surround yourself with experienced mentors, apply what they teach, and you’ll learn everything you need to be successful.
Discipline is a daily decision.

Goals don’t build passive income. Habits do.
Systems are just habits with structure. Run the system long enough and it becomes an asset.
